Parents

One of the most socially destructive behaviors of 99.9 % of all parents in America today, and what peeves me more than anything is this how they blindly believe everything their kids tell them because "my kid would not lie to me." Just about very time a kid gets into trouble the parents first response is to say "my kid would not do that" followed by " if my kid said he didn't do it, I believe him." I have had 100's of incidents where a kid was caught on video doing something wrong / illegal. I tell the parent and receive the above responses. Upon showing the parent the video of Jr stealing or assaulting etc, the parents say, "well somebody made him do it." And we wonder why we are a society of crybabies and "everything bad that happens to me is somebody else€™s fault." Today€™s parents are teaching their kids that they should never accept responsibility for what happens to them. Then, if you are lucky enough to have a parent concede to the fact their kid is a screw-up, they then shift the blame for Jr€™s behavior to ADD, ADHD, or BR549 or one of the ever growing number of other €œdisorders€ invented by the psychological and psychiatric industries. It's disgusting and society is really beginning to feel the effects of bad parenting.
