yeah, you're right, unfortunately, there are some ignorant ass brothers out there who don't do right, not educated, can't/WON'T support a family or in JAIL IF they manage to make it past age 30!!
I believe I am a product of interracial relations as well, and I say that cuz my mom WON'T, absolutely refuses to talk about whoever my father is, but I did manage to get a little info on him and looked in the UNO college yearbook and the only person with that name was a white man, I never met him, he split and moved back home when my mom told him she was preg with me.

Walter--- being the old dinosaur here--- let me say the thing that bugs me the most is this: It really gets to me all the possibly wonderful friendships/dates I could have had if it hadn't been for the time I grew up in. I consider myself blessed that as an adult I have met some marvelous people who grew up on the other side of the fence. One of the most warm and fun nights I ever had was a group of us ( B/W, not M/F) sharing all the secrets we had ever wondered about each other. It was a blast and definitely a bonding experience.

it's true chubby, to shatter the racial barriers and tell it like it is and talk candidly about it ALL!! I find it comforting to be able to talk like that and not be worried about "hurting" someones feelings, you get to know things about other races that way!!

i was going to start dating a black guy when i was in 8th grade. but i never heard from him again. it was summer break and we had a quick kiss. but we never spoke again after that. i wonder what hes up to now. he was in high school at the time.
now im dating a puerto rican/italian/cherokee indian/german/irish/english/whatever the hell else he is. lol. i cant wait to see what our kids are going to look like. im swedish/german/irish/bohemian/czech/polish/and lord only knows what else.
