Let's take that one at a time:

"The catholic church is the largest money naking entity on the planet." I'm sure you meant to say "making", but what that has to do with the systematic abuse of little boys is beyond me. The corruption has been proven to go right to the TOP - to the Vatican - where the church as in fact secreted off a number of priests to protect them from international extradition treaties which do not apply there. How that can be construed to be people just trying to get money from the church since they have so much, protecting even ADMITTED child molesters, is beyond comprehension.

The fact is that literally THOUSANDS of cases have been proven in a court of law wherein catholic priests have indeed molested young minor boys in their charge. That is the most vile of all sexual abuses. They weren't just young children in their care, they were led to believe that what they were being coerced to do was under the name of GOD!!!! I can not think of a lowlier preditor than the priest who would do such a thing. Can you??

Now you can try and claim that others are worse, that this didn't happen, that Republican Senator Larry Craig wasn't a scumbag of the highest order for what he did IN PUBLIC, Gay Sex IN PUBLIC with TOTAL STRANGERS but you would still be wrong. Call all the names you want, say that his critics like me are "sad" people making (in your words) a fool of "yourslef" but the only fool is the person who actually believes such rubbish. That man made laws for literally HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of us AGAINST - I repeat AGAINST the VERY things HE WAS DOING. If they're of the same gender they DO tend to hit on you, or at least me and every other guy in sight when they're guys. It is FAR worse than the meat markets are for the women when guys are after them because it's just Freaky Slimy Weird that they assume you're fair game even in what are generally considered to be "straight" places. I've been hit on by guys more in regular places than when with a female friend in "The Hippo" (a Baltimore gay bar, not sure if it's stilla round) that she once (way back when, like 27 or so years ago) insisted we go check out just for the experience (I agreed but only for a half hour at most). It was freaky weird and she went to the lady's room and I got hit on kinda, almost, once, I think. In other, regular, straight places, I've been hit on as many as several times in an hour or three and I dress a LOT more conservative than I did back then. So what's up? My appearance hasn't changed except for the straighter look if anything. It seems they're just much more aggressive all the time. I could do without that. And some of my BEST friends have been gay but things are just getting out of hand more and more every year. Maybe they don't hit on you snowkat1995 but that's not the case for everyone. They absolutely DO seem to be MUCH more promiscuous and some of us find that at least a tad offensive.

I think all his militant pro-demo crap is more or less a "reverse psychology" thing he's using to get more people to support the repubs. My son grew up with this kid ( Big Mike) that everyone suspected was gay but he could play ball so nobody cared. One day at lunch he admitted to it and started crying in the cafeteria. This Fonzie wannabe started making fun of him so Mike left. Fonz followed him so of course everyone else followed them to the parking lot. Fonz spit on Big Mikes car. Big Mike (6'3" 280 pounds) beat the shit out of poor Fonz. All the kids pulled out their phones and recorded the incident. Sexual harassment of another student can get you arrested so Mike being 17 and Fonz being 19 (an adult) the school and cops called it even and no charges were filed.
The kids circulated the video via e-mail of Fonz on his knees in the parking lot crying with big mike standing over him. The caption read: I HAVE TO TO LIVE WITH BEING A FAGGOT AND NOW YOU HAVE TO LIVE WITH HAVING HAD ONE KICK YOUR ASS!

Jerry Lewis should be fired. Period. Just like Imus. fair is fair, he did an equally socially offensive thing and should be punished for it.

For all you homophobes out there, the "gay lifestyle" is not deviant, based only on sex or any less normal then any other union, it is documented in every culture I can think of and much of the animal kingdom, including our closest relations. I'm sure some gay relationships are based only on sex (ala our friend the senator) but many are not, just like straight people. Some bi-people are only sexually bi (ie, a woman would have sex with a woman, but not marry one), but that's about the only example of what slappy was talking about that I could think of. I feel sorry for your "friends" that are gay. I hope they don't suspect that you think so poorly of them. I know gay people who are in long term relationships, ones who are eternal batchlors, ones who get freaky and ones who have quiet sex lives. They are, in fact, just like everyone else. They ARE everyone else. They have just as much right to live their lives like any straight person, to meet and talk to and maybe hit on anyone at anytime, just like straight people. To suggest that they can't or shouldn't is tantamont to suggesting that black people shouldn't eat at the white lunch counter.

A: how do you know what percentage of gay people have a "defect" that makes them so?

B: Did you choose to be straight?

C: if you like looking at two women having "filthy perverted" sex, does that not make you filthy and perverted too? How do you reconsile the fact that you think there is no acceptable reason for bi people to act the way they do with the fact that you like to watch them do it?
