Anyone else as stupid as us?
We started shopping today. Luckly we finished today as well. I could have been done WAY before now, but my husband insists on going for every little thing that is bought! So now I have to wrap EVERYTHING at once.
Does anyone else wrap "Santa" gifts?? My family always have, and his never did, they just set the stuff up in front of the tree. To me, that would take away, because to me the unwrapping is the best part...who doesn't love a surprise??!!

With our children, we ...
With our children, we always left the Santa gifts unwrapped, and we'd put their stockings in front of their individual Santa gifts. As our kids are now older and know there is no Santa, we still give them things from Santa, but we wrap them in special paper that hasn't been used for any of the other gifts.
Growing up, Santa always left our gifts, unwrapped, around the tree. To me, seeing those gifts immediately upon waking was a sure sign he had been there.
I see your point about unwrapping Santa gifts; it would probably be easier on you if you didn't wrap them, but what would the girls (and Jaxson) think if you started leaving them unwrapped? Oh yeah, even though we didn't wrap them, we DID put great big bows on them.
I have a couple of gifts left to buy; otherwise, I'm done. May your day be merry and bright!!!
no we didn't either, they ...
no we didn't either, they were just set out by the tree and I do the same for my kids too cuz they will have PLENTY to unwrap from all the friends' and relatives' presents. maybe if the gift is small I might wrap it.
