We were in peace time due to Clinton. We didn't need warriors at the level needed when a berzerk warmonger like Bush sets his sights on a country that was not a threat to us. The Pentagon told him so. He disregarded ALL of the generals. Every one of them told him it was FOOLISH but he wasted all of our boys' lives, thousands and TENS of Thousands more maimed for life, families destroyed with non-stop "tours" of duty (interpretation - NOT a vacaction TOUR but being thrown back on top of bombs).
Bush OWNS this war and ALL of the dead and permanently maimed and is working now to stop the Veterans' Administration from helping our wounded soldiers get the treatment they need! Your definition of what makes for a good healthy country is amazing. If a country with no money, and one that continually kills and maims it's greatest asset, it's young men and women, by the tens of thousands, for zero gain, if that's what you see as healthy, then Bush is a great man. He's given us all that and so much more we can be thankful for.
