Conana-- congrats! Do remember how long ago you won? I won over a month ago and I still haven't gotten mine. Not a complaint, though. I'm excited about which ones I'll get. God, I've got to get a life if I get that thrilled about a few stuffed things showing up in my mailbox---LOL!

lol. i was pretty psyched myself to finally get them. i think its been about a month, month and a half. something like that. my favorite one that i got is an alligator holding a steering wheel and he is a "tail gator." lol.

I finally received mine last week too! Apparently they had been delivered to the wrong address and that recipient waited quite a while to give them to me.
So, THANK YOU Pet Peeve people - they really are cute. It's kind of a nice little unexpected gift.
Conana-have you been to the wedding on Florida yet? Did you get o wear that cute sundress? Inquiring minds want to know! >;)

OH, yes, that was 2 weeks ago. lol. unfortunatly there are no pics of me in the dress. the wedding took so long to start that we were minutes from walking out but it started JUST at the time we agreed to leave if it didnt begin. it was supposed to start at 6pm. we got to the church at 5:30. didnt start until 7:30. GAH! the reception didnt last long, either. it was supposed to start at 8 but because the wedding started so late (lasted about 5 minutes, though) it started more around 9pm. ended at 11. so most of that time we sat at the table trying to yap with the people that were there and had a few drinks.

Holy crap that started ...

i know! crazyness! people didnt even start showing up until after 6. we're saying to eachother, "WTF!? the invite says 6pm! why are they coming in at 6 and later!?" after a while we said that if they didnt start by 7:30 we were going to get up to use the potty and just not come back. we almost didnt even go to the reception and she almost didnt get the gift i bought. grr. oh well. the rest of the trip was real nice. ill have to post the pics online for all to see. problem is that i brought the 35mm with for the vacation and the digital for the wedding. so basically all the GOOD pics are actual pictures. i forgot to make a disk of the images so i can upload them. i can still do that if i have the negatives, right?

i took mostly pictures/video on the digital of the storm that came through. and the 35mm pics are mostly of Fort Jefferson in key west and some of the ocean.

we saw 2 crabs! they were chilling out on the rocks on the beach. i got a picture of both. and we saw the roosters. it was a nasty hot day. the day we went to key west. ugh. it felt like it was about 95, 100% humidity, and NO wind. just standing there we were soaked in sweat.

Hahahahaha, I haven't heard about "BP" time in years!!!!

I used to work with this guy CJ who operated on BP time, and he would come in two hours late and say to the owner "what, it's BP time" and just walk away. I would laugh all the time when he came in because he didn't even need anybody to say anything he would just walk in blabbering about BP time!!

LOL! dawn! it was a sort of black wedding. i think they are considered hispanic but look black. ill have to check with adam where the family is from.

it was a very ghetto looking place. i HAVE to post pictures of the wedding at least. the church wasnt even a church, more like a elderly bingo night sort of place. the molding on the walls was missing. there were black plastic bags acting as curtains hanging in the doorway where i assume storage went. they played the SAME song on the boom box the whole freaking time. and when it was time for the bride to come out they stopped the song and restarted it at the beginning. lol. not your standard style wedding but i reckon you do what you can afford.

oh! and a kid came out just before the bride, announcing, "THE BRIDE IS COMING! THE BRIDE IS COMING! THE BRIDE IS COMING!...." lol. it was hilarious!

lol!! that is my first black wedding. we had a good time but waiting for it to start was just killing me. and it was FREEZING! the aircon. was blowing right on me. by the time i realized how cold i was we had already been sitting there for about and hour and people were coming. i didnt want to get up and move chairs. plus i didnt know when they would actually start. it could have been any minute. oh well.
