Puppy's First Snow

I "use" BigZ for companionship and, yeah, he does make a hell of a chick magnet too. Got a problem with that? LOL! The girls sure don't. They like a guy for various reasons and sometimes it is in part because of that he owns. In this case, it's not merely about a belonging but also about how well loved and therefore how loving BigZ is as a result. That's a reflection on me, his Daddy. That sure isn't anything to be ashamed of. LOL! Far from being the main reason I decided to get my third toy poodle although not a bad benefit either by any means. :-)
I like nice things but don't go out and buy that stereotypical middle aged crisis convertible sports car. That would be shallow. What I like most in a girl is that she likes me for who I am, not what I have. When she likes my family though, and my pup is part of my family, then that's a fine thing not to be criticized by anyone with decent values. It's happened before and I'd have proposed in a moment, three all but outright proposed to me. I had to cut it off each time though because one had four kids and there was no way I was going to be able to support all that (partly in terms of cost and partly in terms of how much time and effort it'd take.) One had an ADHD kid that quite literally bounced off the walls. I liked Josh, in fact I was one of the few people he related to well. He was wired though, bright as can be too though. On 911 I called his mother shortly after the second plane crash, as we were still dating then, and he had already made the connection of it being 9-1-1 that day, a full day or two before any news organization began reporting it. The third was too young. I was 29 and she was 20. My parents are 9 years apart and so where Her parents as coincidence would have it. But one day after getting pretty serious for over a week (she spent every night with me in my bed and let's just say we didn't get a lot of sleep, LOL!) she told me she liked it in the ass, almost preferred only that. Not for meeeeeeee...
So I took a lot of time off to concentrate on my son, regained full custody, and we're doing great - going skiing this weekend, and to do put in what it takes being a single father I quit that wild dating scene. I'm thinking I'm ready to get back into it though. My son decided to go to a school he likes better that is near his mother's condo. I agreed that he can do that if it's what he wants. He faltered there just as here and then finally found a niche with friends and track team and tennis team (they don't have the same more rigid grade restrictions as the school he went to here). And now his grades are coming back almost all 100% again. He either flops or gets 100% on everything. He's that bright. I figured I'd give him whatever he needs, even if that means some space for a while and he did and he took it and it's all good. It also givs me more time to go start dating again. No question that was one of the things I considered when deciding on getting BigZ. I admit it. But it is who I am and if a girl likes me for who I am then I am ALL for that. It's the only way I'd want it.
