This worked out Great for the lady. Not a bad idea either. Heck A $135 raffle ticket for a house. I could afford a few houses that way!

I know of a lady who raffled off her hair salon- $1000 entry fee and you had to write an essay on why you want the salon and how you would run it. She said it was the best thing she ever did. So many people entered it that when she gave it away she had over 3X what it would have gone for if she sold it the regular way.
