Update on things
I haven't been around too much lately so I thought I would post an update on the happenings of my life.
I got a new phone. No, I didn't need a new one, but I wanted a new one. I rarely treat myself to anything other than going to eat at a restaurant. I got the Blackberry Curve. Cute little phone and I love it. I am finally getting used to the small keyboard. My EnV had larger keys. So it was a hard adjustment. But I'm doing good with it.
Adam bought a new phone last night. ALSO the Blackberry Curve. lol. He was up late searching ringtones and just playing around with it.
Wedding plans are "going." Not much to report. We found a photographer we like and will most likely book her next month or in July. It's hard to say since Adam's birthday is next month and I want to get him one of those Edible Arrangements. He wants one SO bad. So we'll see how much that is. Otherwise, the caterer has been booked. Once the photog is finalized we can get the DJ done and VOILA! Nothing more to do until later this year or next year. We aren't using a flourist or a baker. So we don't have to worry about that, either.
Work is going well. It's been a little slow, but as a receptionist that's to be somewhat expected. At least my job isn't really in much danger. They can't replace me with a computer because I still sign for packages and greet clients.
Our house is doing good, too. My mom bought me a rose and it has been blooming. It's adorable and smells yummy. It's a climbing rose called St. Joseph's Jacket or something like that. Really pretty orange and yellow colors. I'm growing herbs in the kitchen. Basil, Chives, and *something else* I can't remember. haha. The only one that's doing good is the Basil. I also have Marigolds growing and those are doing really well.
Hammy McHammerstein the hamster is doing well. Perky and fuzzy. He's about a year and a half old now and is chipper as a "puppy." He's obsessed with the bathroom for some reason. We have to keep the door closed when he's running around in his ball, otherwise, he gets stuck in there behind the toilet. Ew. He also likes to follow us around a lot. He rolls where we walk. It's cute. Though we both have accidently kicked the ball a few times not knowing he was in front or behind us. Poor Hammy.
Adam and I want to get to Wisconsin Dells soon to enjoy the touristy things. We didn't go last year. We will also be camping soon...I hope. We didn't do that last year, too. Maybe in July or August we'll go.
Anyhow, that's about it. I hope everyone is having good things happen to them and in their lives.
