my truck!  this is what I've been dealing with since Friday, oh, around 12:30 in the afternoon, AT WORK!  yes I was at work when I was hit.

I was waiting to back out (going get lunch), I wasn't  even in the street or ON the street when this guy hit me.  our parking lot is on side of the street so when you back out, you have to look for cars coming down the street. all the cars are parked in a row so you have to back out a little to look for cars coming down the street and when I saw the truck that was coming I stopped to wait for it to pass.  well, when  it passed, it HIT me. to this day I STILL am trying to figure out HOW he hit me!  he had to be SO CLOSE to the curb when he passed in order to hit me.  well, the first thing out his mouth was, and I quote "I didn't see you and I had the right of way!"  to which I responded, "I wasn't even IN the street yet, so why were you SO CLOSE??!!"  he hit me on the side with the broken glass and pushed me into the white truck parked next to me which belonged to the girl who was in the car WITH me.  after that we called the cops and then that's when it hit me, "MY TRUCK IS EFFED UP!"  and I started crying while I called David to tell him about it.  it was still drive-able and the engineers at work clipped off my bumper cuz it was hanging and put it in the back and I drove to the dealer which is right up the road from where I work and I got a rental from enterprise while I was there.  so hopefully, they said they are going to start fixing it tomorrow. the rental I got is a minivan, I hate it!  I miss my truck.

I forgot to tell you that we BOTH got a ticket…him for speeding and me  for "reasonable vigilence".  I asked the cop what that was for and he said cuz I "may" have been at fault too if I was over the curb sticking out in the street a little bit.  BUT even so, IF that was the case, he STILL should have seen me and NOT been so close to the curb!! and I did have to back up some to see if anyone was coming!!! but I was NOT on the street YET!

LMAO The pussafication of America.

By: Mad Vulcan in Emergency road service - on July 10th, 2008

Idiots have to much time on there hands. There are major problems and they bitch about this.

Signs in Atlanta will no longer warn passersby of men at work. Women aren't hearing of it, since they're at work, too. And the city listened.

Women's magazine editor Cynthia Good asked that all the "Men at Work" or "Men Working Ahead" road signs be taken down, and Public Works Commissioner Joe Basista complied, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Good, 48, who edits the women's magazine PINK, isn't stopping with Atlanta, though. She's going nationwide with her crusade.

"We're calling on the rest of the nation to follow suit and make a statement that we will not accept these subtle forms of discrimination," she told the paper.

The signs were everywhere and would often be posted where women were working alongside the men. So Atlanta's Public Works employees will replace 50 "Men at Work" signs with those that say simply "Workers Ahead," according to the Journal-Constitution.

It will cost $22 to cover over some of the existing signs and $144 to purchase new ones.

Some female Public Works employees complained about the male-focused signage years ago, according to city union leader Gina Pagnotta.

"It is a little bit biased to say 'Men Working,' " she told the paper. "Women are working, too."

New Car Curse

By: AKsnowbunnie in Driving / Traffic, Automobile, Emergency road service, Car purchases, Automobile insurance - on March 21st, 2008

I have been dealing with it for two days now. Yesterday I was on my way out of town and was cut me off but a pick up, and I mean INCHES cut off. I was in rush hour traffic, and he put his blink on AS he turned. I slammed my brakes and luckily didn't hit him. If I had my old car I know I would have hit him - no way would I have been able to stop with studs. I guess it's a good thing I had the new car for that one. After cutting me off, he drove a few blocks and decided he wanted to get over another lane, and cut that guy off too!! I couldn't believe it as I got closer to passing him, it was a STATE TROOPER. Who the hell gave him that job?? I told a coworker and he said to me "I know EXACTLY what truck you're talking about"… must be typical for that dillhole.

This morning I was on my way into work and almost hit a moose. Again, thank goodness I had the new vehicle. I would have been driving faster if I was in my old car, and no way would my studs have stopped me. It wasn't a full grown moose, but I would have creamed it in my old car. I saw traffic coming towards us so I flashed my high beams, but they ignored it. I watched this truck come INCHES away from slicing that moose in half!! I was told that up here people don't understand that when you flash your high beams it's a signal to slow down and pay attention…

So far so good though *knock on wood*

enemies unseen…

By: xntrik4certn in People Who Are..., Emergency road service - on January 5th, 2008

I have been set upon by formidable enemies. That they can’t be terminated makes it so much the worse. That they even exist is doubted by most. They are secretive, masters of disguise, and have the ability to make their victims feel total allegiance, and this without the administering of any type of known drug. I am convinced that there are those of you who know precisely what I am referring to. I hold no ill feelings towards you for not coming forward as I am now doing. As one who is financially independent, I can reveal what I know without being afraid of losing my livelyhood. They would have silenced me long ago had I not possessed the key to the Shield. I will contact you “others” soon with the option of acquiring the protection of the Shield. It is possible that if we band together, we can make an effort to at least slow their progress….Santana, you have been specifically
