Dang them drunk WOMEN!!!

Fla. woman drinking on roof asks man for more beer

FORT PIERCE, Fla. – A man called police on Wednesday night after he came home from work and spotted an intoxicated woman drinking a beer on the roof of his home. The 28-year-old woman was taken into custody after she refused to get down and leave. The police report said the woman agreed to leave only if the man agreed to give her more beer.

The woman, who faces a disorderly intoxication charge, has been in trouble before.

A police report shows that she was suspected of stealing money from her sister to buy alcohol in October. And last week an officer who went to her apartment on a disturbance report reported that Smith was intoxicated and wouldn't quiet down.

Warrant, cocaine lead to job seeker's arrest

JACKSON, Mich. – A mid-Michigan man who'd been looking for work found trouble after an arrest warrant popped up during a background check at a police station. Police also found cocaine in his pocket. The company the man was applying to required a police background check.

The Jackson Citizen Patriot reported that after running the 29-year-old man's name through their computer system Wednesday, police learned he was wanted on a domestic violence charge.

Deputy Police Chief John Holda said that while searching him at the station, an officer found several rocks of cocaine.

The man was being held in the county jail and will be arraigned on the domestic violence charge and possession with intent to deliver cocaine.

Another Dumb Study on OUR Dime.

By: rkinne01 in In the News, Health, Life - on August 27th, 2008

htt p://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/whyaremamaanddadaababysfirstwords

Is this so hard to figure out?  I mean come on! I don't have a doctorate but here's my simple take: babies say ma-ma and da-da first because they are the easiest words to say.

Where do these people get their degrees out of Craker Jack boxes? Whats even worse is that someone is guliable enough to have given money for this study.  God must have wore out the stupid stick with with this bunch.

The Millions of dollars that were spent on this crap could have went for Cancer, AIDS, or even Diabetes research.

Lowering the Drinking Age

By: rkinne01 in Health, Food - on August 21st, 2008

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/ id/26320912/?GT1=43001

What are you thoughts on this subject?

I think it should be lowered. An 18 year old brain is old enough to be sent to Iraq but not good enough to enjoy a beer? If you ask me if anyone deserves a beer is our military men and women irregardless of age!

I don't buy the whole brain development thing, If I'm not mistaken our brains can continue to develope well into our mid to late 20's. I will also argue its more a maturity thing, I know of 16 year olds that can handle booze better than a 30 year old.

Lets be honest here an underage kid can easily get beer or liqour. They steal it from YOUR stash or get someone else to buy it. Prohibition has never worked and never will, instead of making spirits illegal lets educate our teens about the risks of alcohol abuse.

I respect all the wonderful work MADD has done but they're way off base here.

Unwitting gardener man tends marijuana plantsMoney mouth

Fri Jul 25, 11:11 AM ET AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - A 73-year-old Dutch man was astonished to learn from police that the begonias he had lovingly tended on his doorstep concealed a secret marijuana plantation. "Police officers suddenly noticed marijuana plants sprouting from his begonias," a police spokeswoman in The Hague said on Friday. The Hague pensioner promised to destroy the marijuana plants, which he believes were planted by local youngsters, while preserving his begonias. Earlier this month the Dutch government set up a task force to crack down on marijuana cultivation in the country. Growing marijuana is illegal in the Netherlands, but sales of it and other cannabis-related soft drugs in coffee shops have been tolerated for decades.

SJS! ANOTHER something for the lawyers to sue about!?!?!?!

By: WalterTH3rd in Laws, Lawyers, Drugs, Health, Commercials - on July 24th, 2008

I am truly not saying people that are not affected by this horrid disease (which disease ISN'T 'horrid'Undecided), but to 'push' people to going to a lawyer to 'have your case examined' which is, I believe, lawyerese for, 'If WE can't make big bucks from your case, you don't HAVE a case!'Furious

BTW, this is what SJS is - Stevens-Johnson Syndrome is a potentially deadly skin disease that usually results from a drug reaction. Another form of the disease is called Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, and again this usually results from a drug-related reaction. Drugs that have been linked to Stevens-Johnson Syndrome include NSAIDS (non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs), Allopurinol, Phenytoin, Carbamazepine, barbiturates, anticonvulsants, and sulfa antibiotics. In some cases, the condition is caused by a bacterial infection, and in many cases there is no known cause for the onset of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome or Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis.

food for thought…

I don't know if any of you have already seen this but it really makes you look a little differently at all the things we complain about!

I AM THANKFUL:

FOR THE WIFE
WHO SAYS IT'S EGGS N BACON TONIGHT,
BECAUSE SHE IS HOME WITH ME,
AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

FOR THE HUSBAND
WHO IS ON THE SOFA
BEING A COUCH POTATO,
BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME
AND NOT OUT AT THE BARS.

FOR THE TEENAGER
WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHES
BECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME,
NOT ON THE STREETS.

FOR THE TAXES I PAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM EMPLOYED .

FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE
BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS.

FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT.

FOR MY SHADOW THAT WATCHES ME WORK
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE

FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING,
WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING,
AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME .

FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING
I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT
BECAUSE IT MEANS
WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH. .

FOR THE PARKING SPOT
I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING
AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION.

FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM WARM.

FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH
WHO SINGS OFF KEY BECAUSE IT MEANS
I CAN HEAR.

FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR.

FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES
AT THE END OF THE DAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN
CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.

FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF
IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE.

AND FINALLY, FOR TOO MUCH E-MAIL
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE
FRIENDS WHO ARE THINKING OF ME. :-)

Another Twit That Will Sue….

http://www.myfo xdetroit.com/myfox/pages/News/Detail?contentId=6983194&version=1&locale= EN-US&layoutCode=VSTY&pageId=3.2.1

So this woman, by her OWN choice, goes against the recommended time then has the "balls" to complain?

First off anytime you tan there is a risk that you could burn, which is why the tanner had her stupid arse sign a release.

Secondly, she is a grown adult capable of making her own decisions. I think its high time that people should be forced to accpet the consequences of their actions.  Common sense should have prevailed, but alas common sense has gone the way of the Do Do Bird.

Lastly, Why would anyone pay for a tanner in JULY? She should have hauled her fat rolls outside in this heatwave we're having and tanned the natural way.

I just don't get the whole tanning bed thing. People will pay for a tan when they can go to the beach and have some fun for free. I'd not use one of these beds due to the skin cancer rate, no matter how pale my skin became. I guess I'm just not vain enough.

Abusing rescue services

By: AZK in People Who Are..., Abuse - on July 7th, 2008

Why do so many people seem to lack common sense, or consideration for the various Rescue Services [be they paid or volunteer entities].  It exacerbates {PISSES} me to no end, when I had to respond to perform Search & Rescue duties, for person/s who were so lacking in proper training they had NO RIGHT attempting [choose your own scenario] something.  The result of their ineptness, is that the Responders quite often endander their own lives, pulling the so-called-victims 'fat out of the fire'.   To add inslut to injury, often the victim states 'gee, I was just having a little fun' {or some other idiotic comment} or 'It was an accident' as if this relieves them of the responsibility for their actions.  Stop and analyze a given 'accident', and you'll conclude a true acccident is an EXTREMELY RARE occurance.  In most cases the event is a demonstration of negligence; pure & simple.

Witness the fools who go around  train or flooded area barricades, then expect to be rescued.  I'm of the mind to have all costs of a rescue, be born by the 'victum' .  There should be 'automatic penalities' for stupidity, which become a drain on society.  In many instances actual jail time is appropriate. BTW, if the Responder is a volunteer, he/she rarely is compensated for damage/wear & tear and initial or replacement costs of personally purchased equipment.

People with Allergies

By: rkinne01 in People Who Are..., Bossy, Health, Life, Health, Rude - on April 14th, 2008

I am so sick of people with allergies expecting everyone to have to adpat to thier sensitivities!  Our new neighbors have just informed us by letter that they have allergies to smoke. In this letter they DEMAND that no one burn anything at all in the neighbor hood!  Why don't these brain dead idiots check into these things before they buy a house?  First off we live in a township where burning leaves and other yard waste is perfectly legal as are small backyard firepits. We moved out to the township so we could use our firepit, who in the heck do these paragons of rudness think they are?  Mr. Neighbor, stay in your house for all I care, we're using our firepit and burning our leaves in the fall! If you don't like it then move back to the city! Boo Hoo F'ing whooo!

Ok this would suck

By: Mad Vulcan in People Who Are..., In the News, Health, Health, Travel, Bathroom - on February 8th, 2008

Some say it’s good luck if a bird’s droppings hit you, but not if the bird is an airplane and the dropping is frozen human waste that crashes through your roof.

Marian Liknes was sitting in her Calgary, Canada, bedroom in the middle of a phone conversation when chunks of ice consisting of toilet water, antifreeze, disinfectant and human waste tore through her roof and landed on her bed in a pile of shingles, plywood, drywall and insulation, CBC News reported on Thursday.

The crash, which she said sounded like an explosion, left a foot-wide hole in the roof.

John Lee, a Transportation Safety Board manager, confirmed the waste came from an airplane lavatory and said that the release may have been caused by warm air triggering melting.

He said the plane would be tracked down to avoid future mishaps. "This is a one-in-a-million chance of something like this happening."

Work Out Pet Peeves

By: rkinne01 in People Who Are..., Health, Health, Rude, Bathroom - on February 5th, 2008

The gym I work out at provides towels for members, they also provide laundry baskets for members to use when they're done working out. The problem is that people leave them laying on the locker room benches, on the floor, hanging off the lockers, or on shower floors. I'm not a germophob, but I don't wanna have to move someone's nasty towel! How hard is it to drop the damn towel in the bin after your done with it? I also hate when someone uses equipment then doesn't clean the machine after use, there are like 100 spray bottles all over the place!

This gym also provides private showers, I hate when some member is trying to talk to me while I am in shower.  LEAVE ME ALONE I'M A LITTLE BUSY RIGHT NOW!

If you have kids please, join a gym that has daycare, you can leave them there while you work out.  Having kids running around the joint while you have 200lbs benched over your head is a little distracting. Unless they're working out too keep the kids at home, PLEASE!

Finally, I know people wanna smell nice when they work out, but go light on perfume! I ran the treadmill yesterday next to this woman had so much perfume on that it was choking me.

Question for slappy

By: AKsnowbunnie in Drugs, Abuse - on January 10th, 2008

All are welcome to weigh in though! I'm just asking slappy because he knows this stuff better then all of us! Heck, he lives it!

Most of you know the story about my ex, and the crackheads. If you don't, well you'll just have to wait to hear the WHOLE TRUTH.

So recently, my ex changed his plea to "guilty" because they offered him time served and probation. His lawyer, and everyone else told him to turn it down, because taking it meant he was pleading guilty to something he didn't do. I have been told to keep my mouth shut about what I saw. He got time served and 5 years probation to plead guilty to an assault charge. Misdemeanor, not felony (like he was charged with at the start).

He had a court date and online it says "Case Disposed" - I understand that this means the case is closed (due to his guilty plea bargain). Does this mean I can come out and say what hasn't been said? We have a radio guy that would love to hear this story, does this mean I can get in touch with him and finally let the truth be heard? Does this mean that I can finally stop lying to everyone I meet, for sake of the trial, about what REALLY happened that day? I know that the guy that pulled the gun on us has been dead for a while now, but is it REALLY ok for me to be "public" about what happened that day.

I'm asking slappy because he deals with these losers, and I heard from them recently. I want to know if I'm safe to come out and talk about it, or if I should keep my mouth shut for my lifes sake?
